Source: Immigration News Canada · April 15, 2026
Key Facts
- Ontario's Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,334 invitations on April 15, 2026
- The draw targeted workers in two In-Demand Skills stream groups: manufacturing and logistics occupations
- Candidates must have a valid job offer from an Ontario employer to qualify for this stream
- An OINP nomination gives you 600 additional CRS points in Express Entry — virtually guaranteeing a PR invite
- Ontario has been running multiple draws per month in 2026 to meet its provincial nomination targets
What This Means For You
If you live and work in Ontario: The OINP In-Demand Skills stream is one of the fastest ways to get permanent residency if you work in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse sectors. You need a full-time job offer from an Ontario employer. Even a lower CRS score becomes irrelevant with a provincial nomination.
